One profile says Dan Sommer joined the board of 3i, a company tied to FOUH’s chairman, in April 2025. His LinkedIn says October 2021.
FOUH’s tax returns say he became Treasurer in December 2024. No Treasurer was named from April to November 2024.
The dates matter for who decided FOUH’s $250,000 investment in 3i. That is still unproven.
The proof
Their statement: thenetwork.com profile: 3i board “Joined board April 2025”; Sommer’s LinkedIn: Oct 2021. eJP (Oct 22, 2026) describes him as FOUH treasurer and CSS vice chair.
The record: FOUH 990s: Sommer is Treasurer “AS OF 12/2024”; prior Treasurer Wiener “THRU 03/31/2024”; no Treasurer named Apr–Nov 2024. No return in this set is signed by a Treasurer. FOUH’s $250K 3i investment (Dec 2023) appears in TY2024 Schedule L and not in the earlier returns we reviewed; recusal language names only the interested person (Gerson).
Which is it? Unproven: that Sommer took part in the 3i decision or failed to recuse. Unsupported: “Sommer was Treasurer when FOUH invested in 3i.”
