“I saw in my own eyes”: the October 7 remarks at the Republican Jewish Coalition

On Oct 28, 2023, speaking to the Republican Jewish Coalition, Eli Beer, President of FOUH, said he saw “in my own eyes” a pregnant woman whose baby was cut from her, and “we saw a little baby in an oven.”
He has also said a volunteer told him about the oven case. A news agency update cites Haaretz: Israel Police have no record of a baby killed this way. We found no correction or apology on record.
These words were told to a large audience of political leaders and donors. When an account changes, donors should hear the correction too.
The proof
Their statement: At the Republican Jewish Coalition Leadership Summit in Las Vegas on Oct 28, 2023 (shown on C-SPAN), Eli Beer, President of FOUH (the American fundraising arm), said: “I saw in my own eyes a woman who was pregnant, four months pregnant…” and “We saw a little baby in an oven… We found the kid a few hours later.” JNS reported the oven account from the event the same day.
The record: The Jerusalem Post reports that he has also said the oven case was first told to him by a volunteer, who saw a body bag at the identification center at the Shura army base. JTA’s update (Dec 2023) cites Haaretz: the Israel Police have no record of a baby killed in this manner. We found no correction or apology on record from Beer, FOUH or Ichud Hatzalah of Israel 1221 (searched Oct 23, 2026).
Which is it? Hamas committed terrible, documented atrocities on October 7. This entry asks only whether these two accounts, told in the first person to a large audience, match the record. The two accounts differ on whether he saw it himself.
